3. What's something NEW that you tried in a fic?

I wrote some new kinks :3 I'm happy to always try new ones every year. I also wrote drabbles with fixed counting after a long time!

 

4. What piece of media inspired you the most? 

This year would be Alien Stage, although I didn't write for it, Blood+ and japanese horror movies.

 

5. How many fandoms did you write for?

Ensemble Stars and Blood+! After a long streak of Enstars only, Blood+ got me by the neck.

 

6. What ship(s) captured your heart?

Solomon and Karl from Blood+ had a sweet revival, Hyuluka and Mizisua from Alien Stage ruined me too, and the enstars ones HajiMayo and KaoMika never left too.

 

7. What character(s) captured your heart?

Everyone from Alien Stage, Blood+ vampires, the cast of the game 1000xResist (so good!)
 

8. Did you write for any new fandoms or ships?

I wrote EiTomo for the first time for enstars and Sokaru from Blood+ 

 

9. What fic meant the most to you to write?

That would be the new chapter of my KaoMika longfic because it was a new one after 2 years.

 

10. What fic made you feel the happiest to work on?

The Sokaru canon divergent AU (Blood+[Licorice]) because having an 'official' AU with a detailed timeline always makes me happy.

 

11. What fic was the most satisfying to finish?

The HajiMayo fic I wrote for my friend :3

 

12. What fic was the most challenging to work on?

A fic I wrote for my friend for OCxCanon, because it was my first time writing it with other person's character.

 

13. What's the most interesting topic you researched for a fic?

That would be for my original story: brazillian carnivorous plants :3

 

 

15. What was on your writing playlist?

I write listening to video essays on youtube, usually brazillian ones.

 

16. Where did you write? Was there a favorite spot?

My desk and also I returned to writing on paper this year in my bed and it's very comfy.

 

17. What’s your favorite title of the year?

That would be "The Novelist Automata", my original short story.

 

 

 

 

The dialogues from this chapter of my longfic are my overall favorites, so I chose this part. Banter is a huge game between priest and demon who are starting to get close to each other:

“Of course. We still have ingredients, I assume?” Kaoru nodded, visibly more lively and patting Mika’s shoulder again before casually walking to the shelves. “Plenty of flour and fruit, good, good ~ Ah, care if I lead the process, though?”

“Heh… yer the expert, I guess, kind Priest… I’m gonna follow yer orders to the beat ~” Mika opened a fanged smile again, standing on the sink next to Kaoru. “Hmhm, and ‘bout the mess… Can I clean it up with magic a little? ~ Can I? ~”

“… we’ll see about that. For now, let’s focus on the pie, hm? I’m starting to actually feel hungry.”

“Fair enough ~ ♪” Mika hummed, holding a knife and ready to follow Kaoru’s guidance. “Mind if I sing a bit ta make work more fun? ~ ♪”

“Oh well… if it won’t mess with your concentration, I don’t really mind.”

“Heh ~ ♪ Dun’ worry, I’m a master of multitaskin’ ~”

21. Share the funniest line(s) you wrote this year

 

I don't think I have funny lines so I'm skipping this one haha

22. Did you get frustrated with a fic at some point? What happened and how did you get past it?

Oh, many times, in particular the longfic chapters get harder to manage. I had some writer's block so I usually step back from it for a while. I also was frustrated with an original project that didn't come out as I wanted, but I finished it since it was haunting me for a while.

 

23. If you had to choose one, what was THE most satisfying writing moment of your year?

Publishing my original short story as an ebook for the first time!

 

24. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing something?

I don't remember doing anything in particular

 

25. Did you create fanworks other than fic? Show one off!

I did a playlist for a new ship from my original work! Here

 

26. How many fannish events did you take part in? Things like bangs, exchanges, ship weeks, zines, prompt memes, etc. They all count!

29. What’s left on your to-do list for 2025?

Finish a fic for a friend, finish a book I'm reading and update the DW fic masterlist once it's all done. It's all on the last stages so it's chill.
